The place is beautiful

They didn't have generator back up.It was freezing cold while electricity went away during the snow.We bathed with cold water we had to wait to boil water with two small pots .We couldn't even drink tea at anytime we wanted cause no hot water.No gas heater back in the rooms.I was freezing in our room.Overall I didn't enjoy stay cause we couldn't relax in mini jacuzzi bath tum due to no electricity.

Location, staff and rooms were lovely. We only spent one night but it was very comfortable and clean. The manager was very friendly and even gave us a packed breakfast as we were leaving early the next morning.

Good location with all the needed facilities to do some hiking or other excursion in the Drakensberg region. It's on the route for the Sani pass. Heating and electric blankets are available which could be needed in this area in winter season.
