"Comfortable, well looked after affordable."

Accessible location. Property is nice and clean and very comfortable. Mrs McQuade and Jacqueline are very nice and so helpful and very promt with communication, not to mention made a great breakfast. They look after their guests very well.

Older, quirky building with genial hostesses. Post-war period decor. Walking distance from the train station (less than a mile), and about the same to dining. Breakfast cooked to order.

Duvet was far too heavy. One roasts under it.

"Great tradition Hotel in Kettering. Highly recommended."

Very traditional hotel, offering good old fashion service. Extremely friendly mother and daughter team went over and beyond to make my stay a truly pleasant experience. I can't recommend Hawthorn House Hotel too highly. Good off road parking. Great location. Nice quiet room. Fantastic breakfast.

"Excellent hosts, comfortable stay"

Pleasant hosts, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, easy walk from Kettering town centre, very interesting home. Small fridge, kettle, tea and coffee in the room.

Noisy guests above in the coach house... be aware of potential sleep disruption in this room! Bed linen had strong fabric conditioner artificial odour, and it gave me a headache. Can't read in bed as bedside lights too dim.
