"Perfect for a peaceful getaway"

There's so much to like. Kimi, the host, is a lovely lady who is very knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating and attentive. Prefect room with a great view and the little touches, like ground coffee and rusks were amazing. It was also just over the road from a great winery, vrede and lust and a tram stop.

That it was fully booked and we couldn't stay longer 😆

The property was perfectly positioned for wedding venue and wine farms. The room was extremely comfortable and beautifully and tastefully decorated. Lovely coffee with fresh milk in the fridge and rusks. Was so lovely to wake up and sit on the little deck overlooking the garden and vineyards.

Kimi's cottage was spacious, clean, a great location and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend for any weddings at Vrede en Lust or other venues nearby.

location was good. Breakfast was not included Enjoyed the loft room - private and comfortable and quaint. Everything worked and it was a pleasure to spend a bit of time there.

GPS location was a bit confusing when travelling from Franschhoek side. It kept wanting to take us along the Babylonstoren road which was opposite direction to where the cottage actually is. Travelling from Cape Town the GPS was perfect but from Franschhoek side it would take us past the proper turn off and into Babylonstoren road. (happened more than once but not sure why) could have been pilot error!

Beautiful little loft, lovely views from the private patio, and able to see the mountains from the clawfoot tub!

Narrow steep stairs may be a challenge with heavy luggage.

Kimi's Cottage was an excellent venue for our trip to a wedding at the Vrede En Lust wine estate just across the road. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and with every amenity we needed, plus a lovely outside patio area. Kimi and her husband were a delightful couple and we would highly recommend staying at the cottage.

Fantastic host and we really appreciated everything she did for us. Kimi even put out toys on our arrival for our 15 month old child. Her entire place is super child friendly. She really caters for a family
