The room has everything it needs plus it was clean. The food we got was great every time! Huge portions. A big big big thank you goes to the host. I had to go to the hospital to get medicine and without asking he drove us to 5 different hospitals, helped us with the communication and was just extremely patient and tried everything to make me feel better!

Nature World was simply amazing. Room was spacious, clean, had everything you may need. Breakfast included in the price were delicious, everyday something different. Rice and curry for dinner was one of the best I had in Sri Lanka. The owner and his family were very kind and hospitable, always smiling and helped with everything. Also organised for me safari for very reasonable price. You get so much value for very little price.

A close to perfect experience in this price range. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom well-kept and functional. There are mosquito nets over the above windows ventilation and over the bed. No A/C but there is a good fan and it's ok. No unwanted visits from any bugs, which is surprising as you live in a village surrounded by jungle. The food served here is one of the best we ate on Sri Lanka <3 The hosts are super friendly and kind. You feel welcome and looked after. It's worth to book the Udawalawe Park Safari with the host, as he provides very good service for a sensible price (we recommend 4 or 6 hour safari option). Just take your binoculars with you. The overall experience is definitely worth the price. Also try the Ceylon 1850 Village if you have time. It's in a walking distance.

Wi-fi is very slow and irregular. The rest is really great.

Food was okay but cold, I think we god rice and curry leftovers from a bigger group which was okay, but after a long safari day a bit disappointing. If you don't find the guy you have to WhatsApp him, we were alone a lot of the time! All in all I'd recommend, especially for what you're paying :)

The breakfast arranged in the Udawalawe park was really good: vegetable rotti, coconut pancakes and one more Sri Lankan snack. The safari was smooth and satisfying, we really liked our knowledgeable driver. The property is in a short walk distance to the Elephant Orphanage, so we were able to spontaneously watch the baby elephant feeding (6pm). It was possible to have dinner when we arrived instead of having it on the Safari day.

The food portions (dinner, lunch) were too small to get full:( No AC, no mosquito net.

We have been here for three night to relax and enjoy a Safari in the park. The hotel is perfect and the owners are very genourous and welcomed us with fresh coconuts and cold drinks. They were quick on seling us a safari tour but we were there for that. Moreover the trip was very worth it, the guide/driver was super konwledgeble and patient. If you have some time and money to spare I recomend the 6 hours trip. Even in the middle of the day you will be able to see animals, maybe even elephant bathing to refresh from the heat. And you wont be in a rush as there will be plenty of time to enjoy your encounters. The trip comes with too delicious meals that you will enjoy at the hotel. I defenetly recommand this place everything is perfect and the rates are faire.

We had a very good stay here. The room was one of the best we have stayed at in Sri Lanka for a budget hotel. He organised a half day safari for us at a very good price. Recommended places to go and eat. Breakfast was really good. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Udawalawe
