Landgasthof Göbel

Es ist ein sehr sauberes und gemütliches Hotel. Stellplatz für den PKW ist kostenfrei, ebenso WLAN. Der Wirt ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ebenso die Angestellten. Das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und sehr schmackhaft. Gerne wieder.

Super hyggeligt, søde værter, et sted vi vil besøge igen, og så serveres der god mad.

Ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Betreibern. Sauberes Zimmer und leckeres Frühstück mit Sonderwünschen. Gute griechische Küche im Restaurant.

Het slaapvertrek en interieur was navenant de overige accommodatie goed.

The restaurant/breakfast area is cozy - no stove or fireplace but a pleasant atmosphere. Service by the owner´s daughter was friendly. Unfortunately, guests are not welcome to use it during the day. Breakfast was alright. The selection was limited, but the host offered to make us omelet and brought more coffee.

We booked two rooms thinking that they were both a decent size, but one of the two was a lot smaller and the window went out onto the adjacent house, which made the room really feel like a box in a wall. The other room was slightly bigger with a bigger window and balcony overlooking the valley. The decor, however, was very limited and - seen that we were travelling between Christmas and New Year - underwhelming. The beds have been equipped with new memory foam mattresses, but I did not sleep that well - which might have been caused by the rather greasy dinner (Greek kitchen, no vegetarian options other than salad). The hotel is located on a street and parking is difficult. We had to repark each night. Avoid the parking bay to the right, because you will run the risk of scraping the bottom of your car. Since the weather forecast was bad we came prepared and had brought games, but the rooms were too small and did not have a couch table (or couch). In the end, we left two days early and found a better place for just a little bit more to pay in Bad Arolsen.
