Comfortable bed & the use of shared kitchen facilities was much appreciated.

We had understood that there would be a fireplace in the room as description mentioned it as “ an outstanding feature”.

Good location, close to the (only) restaurant in town. Bed was comfortable, very nice towels, and coffee for those early morning departures. Security also good.

Lord Willis is newly renovated, refurbished and very welcoming and clean. The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The setup is a number of rooms (4 or 5) inside a house, each with their own bathroom, with a well-equipped communal kitchen and lounge area. The rooms open up into the passage of the house - only one room has an external door. This means that other noisy, inconsiderate guests disturb your rest if they come in late or leave early and you are a light sleeper. This cannot be remedied because of the layout of the property so it is mentioned so that you know what to expect. There is an a/c in each room as well as electric blankets on the beds, so winter is no problem here. Perhaps ask for a room away from the main road that passes right next to the property. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Lord Willis if you are passing through Williston.
