Village Twins

The location was amazing. Couple of minutes walk to the bus stop and the middle of Chora. The view from the balcony was also amazing, we spent more sunsets there. The staff were very kind and accomodating, picking us up and dropping us back at the port. If we needed anything they would help us and also gave some great recommendations. The beds were also comfortable and the room had plenty of space for two people.

fantastic location and great staff! i really enjoyed their recommendations on what to see and where to eat. the extra perk of getting a lift from and to the port was great!

Perfekt läge precis i utkanten av centrum. Personalen tog bra hand om oss, hämtade vid färjan och berättade om byn på väg till hotellet, rekommenderade platser att besöka, biluthyrning, restauranger. När jag fick ont av att sängen var hård fick jag direkt en extra madrass som var mjuk. Trevliga och uppmärksamma på våra behov.

Frukosten var alldeles för dyr.

Janis odebrał nas z portu i po tygodniu urlopu odwiózł na prom. Zostaliśmy bardzo serdecznie przyjęci. Nasz pokój posiadał 3 pojedyncze łóżka. Studio było czyste, materace wygodne, w łazience świeże mydło, płyn do mycia i suszarka do włosów. Na małym tarasie stał stolik i 3 krzesła. Do kawy zawsze dostaliśmy domowe ciasto. Dostaliśmy wiele informacji, gdzie możemy dobrze zjeść i co koniecznie trzeba zobaczyć Ios. Bardzo miła, rodzinna atmosfera.

Życzyłabym sobie możliwość ugotowania rano kawy i przygotowania śniadania. Co prawda, jest w pokoju maleńka lodówka, ale brakuje czajnika i piecyka, żeby usmażyć jajko na śniadanie. Naturalnie można na parterze zjeść za opłatą śniadanie. Wolę jednak sama przygotować, to co lubimy.

I had a fantastic stay at Village Twins in Ios. Yannis picked me up from the port when I arrived, and right away it was clear this is a true family-run place. Everyone in the family is involved — from the daily room cleaning (everything smelled fresh and was spotless every day) to the lovely woman at the front desk who made me toast each morning. They were all so kind and helpful, offering recommendations and advice that made my visit even more special. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a little balcony that had the perfect sunset view. The location is amazing — just two minutes from the windmills and right next to the Chora center. Restaurants, supermarkets, and the main bus stop are all just a few minutes’ walk away, so everything is super convenient and comfortable. Yannis also dropped me off at the port when I left, adjusting to my ferry’s time change without any problem. I feel so lucky to have found a place like this. Thank you so much!

The only downsides were small and didn’t affect my overall experience too much. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and made my back hurt a bit, and occasionally there was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom floor drain. Other than that, everything was perfect and I still really enjoyed my stay.

A must stay if you’re coming to Ios! Walking distance from beaches, the main shops and restaurants, lookouts to watch the sunset etc. The staff were simply amazing and we’ve never been so welcomed before, they helped us with any situation we needed and gave us plenty of recommendations to help throughout our stay. Felt so safe and comfortable!!
