Irene and David are very welcoming and helpful. They gave us a lot of information about places to eat, places to visit, shops and maps for finding the right way (due to the fact that our internet wasn't sometimes reliable). You have several choices for breakfast and it was well prepared and very delicious. Irene and David are very caring and we felt like guests in a 1.-class-hotel. The landscape is wonderful and we liked the nature and walks.

We were greeted by the hosts with snacks and tea. Win. Our room was incredible, we chose to pay a bit extra and get the bigger room which was absolutely beautiful; sky light, mirrored wardrobe and a large and comfortable space. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean, and the hosts were so kind and generous with their hospitality and advice around travelling local areas. Highly recommend!

We felt welcome from the moment the hosts Irene and David greeted us at the door. They were friendly and provided some great recommendations without being intrusive. They even organised a dinner booking for us ahead of our arrival. The B&B was immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Parking on site was a bonus. Would highly recommend staying here.

Everything! David and Irene are absolutely awesome. Our room was really great snd breakfast was superb. David and Irene made you feel so welcomed and we felt like we were family. They suggested Delilah’s for dinner and what a great choice. If we ever get back to Lochinver we would stay there!

We wished we would have booked a longer stay there.

Perfect location, comfortable room

Difficult hosts, insisted that we book dinner months in advance, despite advising that we were part of a larger family group and didn't know what our plans were at the time of booking. Assured the B&B owner that we were ok with not booking in advance, as we may not need dinner, and would just chance our luck closer to the time etc etc, Also had difficulty updating our reservation details from 1 adult to 2 (booked for 1 person in error). Emailed the B&B direct to advise, thinking it would be a very simple modification. Host was not accepting of the change, confirming that in order to book for 2 adults we would need to cancel and rebook! This wasn't possible as it seemed to be the last remaining accommodation in Lochinver and I couldn't risk losing it. I still have no idea what the issue was here, as I'd booked a King Room, more than large enough for 2 adults, and in my response I clarified that I only wanted to make a straight forward amendment from 1 guest to 2, and also mentioned that I assumed the nightly rate would remain the same - as this was the room rate and not a per person rate. I checked Booking.com to find examples of the rate based on 2 people for alternative dates, and it was the same. The host came back advising that they could still not change the booking. I tried to amend the number of guests via the Booking.com app, without success, and also messaged Booking.com customer service, with no reply. A few days before our payment was due I received another message from the owner confirming that they would be deducting £200 from my card, instead of the advertised rate of £185. This was very disappointing. I have screenshots confirming that their rate for 2 people should have been £185 so I've no idea what the extra charge was for. The booking was on behalf of my parents so I didn't want to dispute and cause any unpleasantness for my parents during their stay. One to avoid.
