"Great stay for a couple of nights"

Really friendly staff and easy check in. Towels (small) and toothbrushes replaced daily. Great location, free parking. Free drip coffee, water and good nails in community kitchen. Overall quite clean.

Showers available from 6AM to 8AM. Pillows are quite hard.

I enjoyed my stay at Guest House Shizuho. The location is great, the personnel are polite, and the amenities have been provided. Price/Quality ratio met my expectations. Nice choice for those who want to save some money and have a pleasant stay in Takachiho.

Very friendly owner who gave us a superb recommendation for dinner based on our preferences. The room was comfortable and perfectly clean and we all slept very well - no noise at night. The location is also very nice since you are in walking distance to Takachiho Shrine where you can see the nightly Kagura performance which is definitely a unique opportunity. 100% recommend this guesthouse :)
