Extraordinary setting with well maintained garden and pool and in particular very beautiful architecture. The owner and staff are very helpful and kind. It is obvious that they are all proud of the place and put extra love to keep it a great experience for the guests. We also had better sleep than in any other hotel on Sri Lanka thanks to nice beds, sheets and comfy temperature. We would have loved to stay longer if the place was not fully booked.

It was peaceful and quiet staying here, with so much wildlife in the gardens, I saw 2 peacocks, many birds, langue monkeys who played in the trees and on my rooftop (too shy to come onto the balcony) and many water monitors. The villas are very private and the balcony offers sea views from 2 directions, as well as a much appreciated sea breeze thanks to its position at the top of the hill. I booked this place for the pool, and to be able to cook. The pool was just perfect, always quiet and so clean. Tiron was always on hand if you needed anything, including removing a very large spider from the kitchen when I came down one night to prepare dinner.

There are no signs for the villa from the road, and I ended up passing the place twice before being told where it was. The location on Google maps is slightly off as well. Communication from the property was a bit hit and miss, taking a long time to reply from before i booked upto when I stayed. The owner would often arrive in the evening unannounced to check things were alright or to update about something I had asked. They were very helpful when I arrived and the WiFi wouldnt work and brought a new router. There are blinds in the bedroom but only over some of the windows. There are none above the glass doors which I my opinion is pointless. I had to put down the rain blinds on the balcony each night instead to keep the room dark.

Очень живописное место. На территории чисто и зелено. Территория огорожена забором, Есть камеры, все безопасно, ценные вещи несколько раз забывали на улице , ничего не утащили. Персонал очень приветливый, помогает решить все возникшие проблемы. Также помогли с байками и такси(цены адекватные, не завышены). Оставили только положительные впечатления.

Нам все понравилось, но нужно учесть нюанс для тех, у кого проблемы с лестницами. Дома находятся на холме, нужно подниматься от входа. До моря можно дойти пешком, но место больше подойдет для тех, кто ездит на байках

The property was clean and tidy and better western standards than others we stayed in.

The pool is absolutely gorgeous but is a two minute wonder from the bungalow rather than being with it. The location isn’t central to Unawatuna beach but is in a beautiful setting and easy to get there in a tuk.

Prachtige ligging, midden in de natuur. Één van de mooiste plekken waar wij verbleven deze reis. Er was verder ook niemand (niet gezien in ieder geval), omdat het wat buiten het seizoen is. We hadden dus een privé zwembad. We verbleven in een soort appartement op een heuvel (je moet dus wel goed te been zijn). Het appartement, dat voorzien is van alle gemakken, ziet er mooi en schoon uit. Dat is in Sri a Lanka best een bijzonderheid, bij betaalbare accomodaties. Verdere pluspunten: - Een eigen wasmachine - groot balkon met hangmat en leuke bank. - Rustige omgeving. - Groot bed met klamboe.

- Je kunt hier alles aan het zeer vriendelijke personeel vragen, maar wat ik soms moeilijk vind, is dat we altijd om extra handdoeken en toiletpapier moeten vragen. En zeep is ook geen vanzelfsprekendheid. Maar dat hoort misschien ook een beetje bij het land (op veel plekken is dat niet aanwezig). - De douche was super heet en werd om de paar seconde heel koud). Dit was niet prettig en soms zelfs pijnlijk als het van koud naar heel warm ging. Dat zijn puntjes van aandacht.
