Ameesha guesthouse

We received a warm welcome at Ameesha guesthouse, inc a very welcome pot of tea, upon arrival. We have two rooms, one had a balcony and there was a sitting area outside on balcony. Staff were always ready to help. Small items were readily available from shop at street level. Nearby restaurants were good value. Walk is about 15 min uphill from beach area, guesthouse is a bit off the beaten track making it quiet. We would return.

Great location for beaches and situated out of the town .

I read some bad reviews, but I don’t understand why people write this. The room is clean, basic, but you have everything you need. Wifi is good and the owner very friendly. There is a common kitchen. For this price it is excellent value!

Everything and especially the monkeys right infront of the balcony. The location is a bit up the hill,but nothing scary. It's actually good that it is out of the busy are and very close to jungle Beach and an awesome temple.

The Room with the balcony was good and the owner was nice.

There was a big window to the hallway with a curtain but with the ventilator going it always went up a bit and let others see in the room

A little far from everything, it's still close by walking Tuk tuks cancel through the Pick me app. Those who enter there are expensive. There is no kitchen, the counter is literally two knives, an electric kettle and a board.

There is a shared kitchen on the second floor. Also a good shower with hot water.

Wi-Fi is slow

Nice Quiet hotel in the jungle with walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The hotel have a supermarket and laundry service. Big and very comfortable beds with air conditioning and mosquito net.

The family were very nice and were always happy to help by arranging transport,trips,exchanging money etc and even helped me sort out problems with my sim card. The house is in a jungle location and the highlight for me was seeing monkeys and peacocks from the balcony.rooms without a kitchen still have a shared fridge, kettle and dining table.a sri lankan breakfast is also available. There is a small shop and laundry service too
