The staff was very annoying in the morning after we hiked, trying to convince us to get a tuk tuk to hatton instead of the bus, and they didn't let us sleep in the morning after the hike, it was very annoying.

Location, right at the start of the climb to Adam’s Peak. Very nice family running the homestay and the shop downstairs, they even provided a torch for our night climb. Very nice meals.

Location is fantastic, right at the start of the walk up Adams Peak. The owners are very friendly and helpful, have us information about the walk, and the bus times to Hatton. As most places were closed they even went to the nearest big town to get us some beers for our stay, and gave us a beer fridge for the room. Breakfast was good and we ate here in the evenings as well - vegetable curry was superb, dosa not quiet as good. The room was large but a bit dim, bed comfortable and bathroom with hot water. Stayed for 3 nights and went walking round the lake and tea plantations as well

WiFi was not working for most of our stay, but when it did it was good. I had an airtel sim and had no signal at all, other guests had mobitel and got full 4g

I stayed for two nights and the accommodation was really great for a short stay. It's super central, staff is very friendly and helpful with tips for activities and the food was amazing. Can recommend the Curry :-)

Very nlce and honest place literally next to the pilgrims path up adams Peak. The rooms are basic but you have everything you will need. The highlight of this hotel is the food! It is prepared by the landlords mother and is delicious, we ate both breakfast and dinner. All in all I would recommend to stay here if you want to climb Adams peak

The location is supposed to be the main benefit of this homestay (and it was great, especially right after the sunset hike to Adam’s Peak), but actually the people are the absolute best. Owners are super nice, nothing was a problem for them and their mother’s cooking was amazing. Also one of the brothers dropped us at the train station without any trouble.

The wifi was non-existent, but the owner’s explanation (it was monkeys’ fault because they pull on the cables) almost made up for it

I cannot speak higher of this place, if you are climbing Adam’s peak it is the perfect location with the absolute best guys that run it. Literally look no further!

The location

The only good thing about this place is the location, it is on the first step of the path to Adams peak. But.. the room was NOT clean, don't expect to get sheets... NO wifi (apparently monkeys had eaten the line....) NO hot water. And expensive food for very little quality... We weren't given a key to the room so when we left for our hike at 3 am we had to find an other padlock from the room beside... The host was helpful for tips about the area.

Close to the entrance, great view, hot shower, nice host and breakfast included. Also had a light for the walk in the night.
