The Blue Guest House

The property is very close to everything here, staff are lovely and it’s great that they do a small range of breakfast too for cheap! They also have tours that you can book on the front desk which is handy, rooms are very clean and great value for money.

The only thing I’d ’complain’ about was that when we arrived, there wasn’t any soap or shampoo in the shower dispenser. I had my own anyway but I’m sure they’d have just filled it up if I’d asked! :)

A lovely, family run guest house. I felt very at home here. Good location, clean, comfortable, excellent value. I felt well looked after. Also tuk tuk driver Sam provided an excellent half day tour. Although not an official guide, he spoke with knowledge, passion & love. Recommended

Location and stuff

Good hostel with roof top area for social and relax. Comfortable beds with curtains and lockers. Good AC. Great central location!

Some guests were noisy which is out of the hosts control however they could ask them to be quiet. Toilet/ shower could have been cleaner.

The location is good and they have a decent restaurant where we had lunch the day we arrived in Battambang. The room was clean and had a place to hang our clothes. Soap and shampoo were available for use and we also had a kettle. The staff was always friendly and ready to help us in any way they could.

Nothing very disturbing, but the electrical outlets were a bit loose so we had difficulty charging our phones sometimes. The fan in the room was broken and it could have been a big problem if the aircon stopped working, but fortunately that didn't happen.
