The Blue Guest House

Great place to stay - spacious room and good facilities. Booked a tour through the accommodation which was very enjoyable and worth the cheap price. Laundry service was quick and efficient. Staff gave free water every time they saw us.

Bed was a little hard. There was not a lot going on around the hotel for food and drink.

When I checked in. They told me that bathroom did not work. So, they asked me to cancel booking.

Security is good always lock the door

I booking with 1 bed but they give me twin bed and difference prices 1$ it’s fine but nothing even 1 bottle of water in the room

The staff were cheerful and friendly. Very good service. The room was quite big and everything worked. Loved our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the guesthouse. The room was great (get one with AC) and the service was amazing, they are such kind people. I'd also recommend booking a private tuk-tuk tour through the guesthouse, it was perfect. The breakfast is also great!

The accomodation was situated in a quiet area of Battambang but still in walking distance to everything.

The room had a large window looking straight into the hallway (if open everyone walking past can see you) and the curtain did not completely cover the window, therefore we had an exposed opening into our room for anyone to see walking past. This made us feel uncomfortable. We also booked a night bus from Battambang to Koh Rong through the hotel, which ended up being a bit stressful and confusing as the staff did not provide accurate information regarding this trip. They explained to us that we would take a night bus to Phnom Penh, then transfer to a van, then a ferry. As this is the information we received, when we arrived in Phnom Penh at 3:30am, we weren’t sure whether or not to get off the bus as no bus staff were talking to us or giving us any instructions. In the end we stayed on the bus as no one else who was going to the same place got off and the bus did go all the way to the Ferry. This was frustrating as we constantly woke up and were confused early in the morning, due to inaccurate information.

After a bit of a miscommunication we briefly moved room to a room with poor air con but managed to change back to the original room. Only one thin sheet is given for a double bed but isn’t wide enough to cover the bed. Place needs a water cooler too
