No Privacy you have to share the showers and toilet with lots of other people- NO NO NO Never again

We recently stayed at this guest house and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Firstly, I would like to mention that the staff/caretakers who received us were friendly and welcoming. We have no complaints regarding their service. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by the attitude and conduct of the owners. The house rules felt extremely rigid and more suited to a school hostel than a guest house catering to adults and families. We are adults, heads of our families, and paying customers. Being subjected to what felt like “boarding school” rules was unnecessary and uncomfortable. On our final day, we felt rushed during check-out, as if the owner could not wait for us to leave. At one point, she referred to us as “outjies” and asked, “hoe ver is julle outjies?” even though we were still within the check-out time (approximately 20 minutes before). Referring to paying guests as “outjies” is disrespectful and unprofessional. Guests should be addressed respectfully, by name or formally, not in a belittling manner. The tone and treatment made us feel looked down upon rather than valued as customers. Another major issue is that the Booking.com listing does not accurately represent what you find on the property. The bathrooms are communal, which means you have to step out of your room and walk outside to shower or use the toilet. This is highly impractical for families and was not clearly reflected in the way the property is presented online. We also booked accommodation for 3 adults and 2 kids. The room allocated to us initially consisted entirely of bunk beds, while the Booking.com photos clearly showed 2 double beds and 2 bunk beds. Although this was eventually rectified and we were not charged extra, we were questioned about why we did not call them directly before booking on Booking.com — in a tone that felt condescending. Guests should not be made to feel at fault for using the platform the property is advertised on.

Everything about the place is beautiful and very well taken care of.
