Beautiful old house. Friendly staff and lovely rooms. Good breakfast. Lights and TV even during loadshedding is a definite bonus.

The Gables is a nice place to stay. The owner is going out of his way to make sure that guests are happy. The breakfast is really good and can be recommended. I will be back

Good location.

No milk available for morning cofee. Towels extremely hard, not soft as shpuld expect from a Guest Lodge. No little soap/shower caps available. Pillows - could'nt sleep as it was very flat and uncomortable. Shower door can not close properly. Had problems with TV as it didnt want to work..
