Sang Tong Huts

We spent two nights at Sang Tong huts and had a fabulous stay. Louise and Ying are so friendly and helpful and gave us some great tips on what to visit, where to park in town and a great tip for a restaurant. The hut we stayed in was great and very comfortable and the pool is great to have a dip in after a hot day. The garden is lovely too and we had such a relaxing stay. I recommend the banana pancakes for breakfast as they’re delicious. We had such a lovely stay.

We've been here a while back. Such a great value for your money. Its clean, beautiful and Louise and the thai lady whose name I forgot, were so nice!

Love love loved this place, it's a tranquil haven, beautifully thought out and maintained. Our room was incredible, a huge pentagon hut with views over the jungle, unique and well designed. The pool area is an added bonus and again, it's gorgeous! Louise was a great host going above and beyond to give us local info about the area. This is the best place we've stayed in Thailand, if you're in Mae Hong Son stay here!

Louise was exceptionally welcoming and ensured we were 100% comfortable and ready for our exciting night in the "forest hut". She gave us lots of useful local information about walking street - and especially about a Shan cultural celebration that evening. The Asian Breakfast (served by Ying) was colourful, hot - and delicious. We are supporting our son as he bicycles around the Loop and this stay was definitely the highlight of our week. To hear the gecko in the night and the fantastic dawn chorus of birdsong was memorable - also to spot one of the squirells. Tuank you so much Louise and Ying and the very best of luck for the future - you both work do hard, you deserve a reward.

Nothing comes to mind - Louise has the"customer experience" perfect after so many years of welcoming strangers...

Good location (a bit out of the city center surrounded by nature, so be aware of animal/bug encounters), spacious room with great porch, nice swimming pool, for breakfast you could choose out of 3 options which we thought was good. Ying made sure that everything was perfect during our stay.

I really loved the ambience of the property. The grounds look beautiful and there is a dog and kitty on the property. It’s a very quiet and natural place. I slept well and Ying was a wonderful manager! She was so nice and welcoming!

Cosy huts in the forest, with all the perks and the downsides of such accommodation. The hut is spacious, clean and the terrace is enjoyable. Breakfast is homemade, and it tastes good. The Australian owner is very helpful and nice.

It was rainy season (July), and the lack of air conditioning was noticeable (not only the heat, but also the mosquitoes).

Wonderfull and exeptionally friendly stay in authentic though comfortable huts. Great breakfast! Best stau to explore the North

Very rustic and back to nature experience sharing accommodation with large spiders and various other bugs. (Possibly due to being low season). Mosquitoes are a given in this region. Given the exposed nature of the accommodation and bedrooms, mosquitoe nets were provided but rooms were extremely hot. Early check out
