"Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay with just a few minor improvements needed."

One of the highlights of my stay was the great location and the calm, tranquil environment.

The only downside was the lack of a dressing table and a full-length mirror. As I was wearing a traditional saree, it was difficult to do my makeup and properly check the draping. A full-length mirror would be a valuable addition to the room

The property was well located for my needs.

The property has absolutely no ambience. The breakfast room feels almost clinical in its appearance and lacks any sense of a homely stay.

My stay at Serene Place Guest House was unpleasant, prior to me checking in I was called by one of the hotel administrators indicating that there is power outage in the area. However, the guest house is solar paneled and will therefore have power but not hot water, he further indicated that he can offer buckets of hot water the next morning for bathing. I then accommodated the request from the guest house however the check in did not last long until i found i could not even have lights nor have the aircon on as weather temperatures were too low. The administrator told me the solar can only perform to a certain extend and can only have lights in the morning, he also indicated he could borrow me the charging lamp however cannot walk to my room due to issues with his leg. I then opted for cancellation of my stay.
