The hosts were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. The venue was so peaceful with amazing views - just what I needed. Felt very safe at all times. Extremely comfortable and cozy bed.

It was my 2nd time at the Equleni guest farm. It was absolutely fantastic, again. We traveled with our dogs who had a great time in the garden and on the farm walks. The staff was very helpful. It was a clean and well equipped cottage. The area in nature is lovely. We can not wait to be back.

Everything was perfect

It was so beautiful and peaceful! Very private and quiet. Perfect for our honeymoon getaway. The accommodationhad everything a person needs with a bit extra, we were spoiled with a few extra touches. Couldn't have asked for better!

There was nothing we didn't like

Beautiful setting, very private cottage, yet easy access to tourist towns and sights. Very well equipped with everything you could need for self catering. And more! Very responsive staff, but only on WhatsApp. The gas braai was great when our braai fire rained out. And the extra gas bottle in the unit was also wonderful as we could replace the empty one in the gas heater when needed. We enjoyed the hiking trails on the farm and to the Rondevlei bird hide.

We understood there to be a hot tub, which was not the case. It was referred to in many of the reviews of this specific cottage.. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and this was one of the reasons why we booked 3 nights at this farm. Unfortunately, 2 of their cottages do not have a hot tub, so make sure you double-check this before booking. We were super disappointed. It's a wooden/prefab structure, so it was very cold inside during an exceptionally cold weekend (11-16°C and raining non stop) but the gas heater and electric blanket on the bed helped a lot!
