"The owner was lovely and I enjoyed seeing the work she is doing with rescue animals."

No breakfast - just bed.

I like to stay where there is some sort of self catering - even minimal. I don't like going out for a meal when I'm travelling so I would choose a place with some facilities for heating up some food.

Room was clean and neat, wifi worked, Amanda the host was friendly and helpful. Smithfield House is good for an overnight stop. No complaints.

Prearranged oxtail dinner on Easter Friday was not made but Amanda directed us to Buckleys restaurant in the town which was good

"We were passing through and are very happy to have found this quiet oasis."

The accommodation is in a beautiful old farm. There are alpacas, donkeys and goats. The landlady spoiled us with wonderful homemade food and spent a lot of time informing us about the surroundings. We enjoyed this very much.
