Ailim Guest House with Luxury Garden Suites

Wonderful stay at St Andrews. Always wanted to visit and was not disappointed. The one-bed chalet (additional sofabeds in the living room if required) was beautiful, luxurious, yet felt homely, very clean, and walking distance from the centre and a 2-minute walk from the bus station, which could be accessed from the front and the back of the house. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay and wish we had booked an extra night. We would not hesitate to rebook.

Location is perfect just steps from the bus station. The garden and the cottage were both lovely. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Location great close to the Old Course

Ilya is a wonderful, helpful host. Ailim House is in a fantastic location for everything in old St. Andrews, yet it’s up a quiet cul-de-sac with its own absolutely beautiful garden.

Friendly hosts, amazing breakfast and our cottage was truly beautiful. A perfect balance of comfort and style, huge amount of thought has gone into making this accommodation a true home away from home. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back soon! Location is superb - everything is a 10 mins walk away. Thank you, Ilya!

The only small thing if we are being picky is that the insulation between ground and first floor doesn't work very well. You can hear every step and every noise from upstairs but for us, being a family, it really didn't matter that much.
