Butichi Guest House

Right across the street from the Katskhi Pillar (you can see it from some of the windows) this is a great location. The highlight, however, is the wonderful family who are more than willing to show you around their working farm.

The property is ran by a very lovely woman , even though we didn’t speak a common language between us. She was very welcoming!

We didn’t have direct access to tea/coffee making facilities.

The owner family are very pleasant. They have the sweetest cat I ever met, she will follow you for cuddles. The apartment is clean and you feel a soul of a Georgian village. They offer tasty dinner which is great because there are no such services around (the nearest town 15-20 mins by car). Our room was very spacious, it was silent at night and completely dark. Also, see the night sky, it is very beautiful.

The road to the house has a short, but very bumpy passage which would need a little repair - I was afraid for our rented car. The owner kept sending us confusing automatic messages - I tried to explain her what is happening but there is a language barrier, so it did not stop until we left. Those are still small minor issues, so 9/10.

The host was very nice. Rooms were very clean.

It has no AC in the room. But it has a fan. Humidity was too much
