The breakfast was lovely and was more than enough. The view is lovely, the sunset is beautiful in the morning. Best spot ever.

The road to Coffee Bay needs urgent attention.

The view and the seafood dinner was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely, hot shower. We loved our stay and booked an extra night.

We liked everything.

I was there during an unprecedented flood, which washed all of the access roads and bridges away. The couple who run the lodge were so supportive, accommodating and helpful in allowing us to stay on when we were trapped in Coffee Bay, and in meeting our various needs during the two extra days we stayed. I want to commend them for keeping going despite no power or access to fuel, food and other things. They were able to keep us provisioned with five star meals and service, all while managing their own issues caused by the flood. It made for a very memorable stay! The lodge is also in a great location with wonderful views. We were able to sit on the balcony and observe the clean-up operation happening, as well as the attempts to fix the only access road so we could eventually go home. If you are going to be trapped, this is not the worse circumstance in which to do so!

The torrential rain caused problems for us all, including challenges with flooding in the building. And of course the power was down. But the lodge did put the generator on in spells and keep us up to date on happenings.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the dinner it felt so intamate and the view is absolutely beautiful. The idea of not having TV is perfect cause then you're not going to be distracted and able to enjoy their facilities fully.
