Baan Suan La Moon

We arrived very early and were allowed to have super early check in. The room is in a beautiful grounds, super green and quiet. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The host, Lamoon is a lovely human. Super friendly, helpful and kind. A great place to stay in Chiang Khan.

Great place to stay in Chiang Khan! The owner is best part of it all, as many other comments have said. She is the kindest person, very helpful and hospitable. She let us check into the room at 8:30am because our bus had arrived super early and we were exhausted. She drove us to the bus station on the last day. She offers complimentary breakfast every morning, something different every time from the market. She arranged a scooter rental that came right to the hotel. She gave us very useful advice for organizing a trek to Phu Kradung. The room was very nice and comfy, AC, TV, good bathroom. We had a super nice terrasse outside our bungalow. It's in the heart of a big garden with trees and a pond, beautiful. There are free bikes available for guests, so even if you are a bit further from the center, you can go cycling in 5m.

Everything! Perfect quiet location for us, away from the noise and bustle of walking street and the riverside but an easy and safe 8 min walk. Very private, simple and spotlessly clean bungalows, set in a very beautiful and well tended garden. Ours overlooked the pond, which we loved. La Moon is the perfect hostess. She provides a generous supply of coffee, fruit, pastries, bread, rice in a central area every morning, from which guests can help themselves. Easy parking too. Overall we loved our stay here. It was a restful highlight in a long and busy trip around Isaan.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The owner is so nice and helpful with everything you need. Location is great, just about a 5 minute walk from Chiang Khan walking street, and the garden setting is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are beautiful as well. On the first morning we had a huge plate of fruit and snacks waiting on our front porch, and all day free coffee station and free use of bicycles make this place the best value for the price. You have the option to have your room cleaned everyday, which we chose not to, and we still got fresh towels, soaps and water bottles every morning. Ended up staying here an extra night because we loved it so much.

Really beautiful little bungalows in a very pretty garden. Lovely decor. Tea and coffee and fruit available all day in reception area. 6min walk to Walking street. On Saturday and Sunday evening there’s a really lovely market. Amazing place to stay and the owner is lovely and speaks English 😊

The garden around the small houses is a delight. Easy walk to the city center. Coffee, cookies and fruits available in the early morning. Kindness of the owner.

We had a problem with the room toilet which didn't evacuate easily.
