Really friendly, clean rooms and good working arcondition.

Not really connection with other backpackers.

this is my 3rd or 4th stay 1....Love the cleanliness 2. Near to the night street foods at Kimberly and Carnavaron streets 3. neat to the street mural arts at Armenian Stret, very touristy 4. around the street corner, is the Free CAT bus stop that goes around Georgetown 5. Across this bus stop, this a shared Bicycle station, where one can share bic to cycle around Georgetwon

The reception and common area could have been better if air conditioned to promote more cultural interactions rather than hiding in our rooms

Easy moving around by foot, from jetty take free cat, stop at penang road, 5 minutes walk to the hotel, thanks to Bobo for your kind hospitality.

The host Bobo is a delight. Answers all questions at all manner of the time. Also, the place has such a welcoming and homely vibe. I extended my stay! It’s very clean and the bathroom space is well maintained. It’s very quiet in terms of no events or anything on site however the place is sociable as people use the common spaces to eat food and have a chat. As a woman solo traveller I felt very safe and very comfortable in that space. I’d stay here again for sure.

The nicest place, you feel comfort in. I stayed in a female room, it's spacious, beds are comfy with curtains for privacy, there is a fan on the ceiling and a ac. Bathroom is clean, water pressure is a little bit weak, but that's okay. The hostel is really calm place, it's great to relax here after a long day. Bobo is really kind and helpful, she postponed my paying for a day and gave me a permission to leave my bag in the hostel for two hours after checkout. So nice, recommend!

Very clean room & bathroom, no noise, fluent check-in procedure (contactless), great location.

We felt like we were the only people staying in this hostel (we were, apart from 1 couple). Therefore this was the opposite of a social hostel. Although, we had this feeling about George Town in general, felt like there weren’t many tourists, at least not what we expected. Also no physical interaction with the host, therefore we didn’t get any tips to explore George Town.

The location is perfect. Also the hostess wants to help you with everything and answers very quickly on Whatsapp.

The sanitary facilities were not so clean. It could be cleaned better.

Really great location, spacious common areas, and the dorms have individual sub-rooms which felt like such a luxury! You still hear next door neighbours but you feel like you have a lot of private space for the price of a hostel.

One of the dorm faces the street and the windows are very thin (or have gaps between them), so it’s very loud, especially in the early mornings when trucks and scooters rev up the street. Bring earbuds or book a private room…
