Paris Garden Resort

Avoid this hotel. It is overpriced, poorly maintained, and far from clean. The pool contains water bugs that bite, and there is no safe in the room. Both the room and bathroom doors cannot be closed properly unless they are locked. The air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it difficult to relax or sleep. The hotel surroundings are unattractive, with mostly concrete areas and very little greenery. The entire property is in desperate need of renovation. Although there is a TV in the room, it does not work, is very small, and is mounted about 2.5 meters above the floor. Everything looks worn out and neglected, as if it has gone decades without proper cleaning or maintenance. During the night, a small animal entered our room and tried to get into our bag. Considering the price, there are much better accommodation options available nearby. So far, this has been the worst hotel experience of our trip.

The staff were nice and the rooms clean and comfortable..good location

There was no tea or coffee available..I think because they are currently building a new kitchen and restaurant, but I think tea and coffee could be provided at a minimum or at least they could partner with a local cafe to order breakfast delivery

Swimming pool and quiet location but still close to the beach and restaurant

Our room was comfortable and clean. Fantastic swimming pool.

The area around what must be one of the best swimming pools we came across in Sri Lanka could do with a lot of tlc. The ground was quite dirty, the tiles needed fixing and the addition of plants would be a great improvement as the outlook is not pretty at the moment and lets the property down. I assume that this will happen at some point as there is a lovely brand new hotel on site which wasn't yet open.

Beautiful, big and super clean swimming pool. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily and fresh ,clean sheets and pillow cases fitted, mattresses are soft. Warm water showers. Close to beach and restaurants.

We originally booked just one night but ended up staying four—that’s how much we enjoyed this place! The accommodation was very comfortable and just a short walk from the beach. The location is also really convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. An added bonus was the pool, which was perfect for relaxing during the day. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Construction next door, but it didn’t bother us much

Proximate to great beach and restaurants. Room was clean.

In touching distance , on 3 sides by building sites.
