Riverside Guesthouse and Treks

We booked this hotel before a 2-day trek in the jungle, just because it was close to the office of the company we were doing the trek with, so the location was perfect.

The room and bathroom are quite basic. The "staff" I guess was the person that came to pick our bags to the trek office and opened the room for us, but we did not know how to get in touch with them later on, as there was no reception or the like.

Lovely and spacious clean room. Very helpful hosts.

Thanks to Fadil for our perfect stay in Bukit Lawang. We enjoyed every moments. Fadil took care of everything, from our pickup in Medan to our orang-outans trek. We had the chance to do the trek with Ibo as a guide. Really nice guide who took the time to answer all our questions. On top of it, we even had the chance to observe orang-outan from our terrace at the guest house. We would recommend for sure!

Host was very accommodating to late check in and moved my bag to and from locker while I went trekking in the jungle.

Riverside is our long time favorite because of the great location and the lovely family running the place.
