Hostel Vera - Airport Podgorica

The hosts are extremely helpful, going so far as to drive me to the airport at 6:00 AM. The room and shared bath were spotlessly clean. The shot of rakija was much appreciated. They provide bottled water in a refrigerator, a kettle and tea. There was some raman noodles and two isobutane bottles in the pantry, maybe left by previous guests on their way home. And the price can't be beat. I would love to stay here again.

Not their fault but the formerly rural area is becoming industrial. There are two warehouses adjacent. One floods the area with intense lights. The other starts noisily loading trucks at 2:00 AM, making it difficult to sleep with the window open. I don't know of any budget restaurants nearby but there is a really good steak house about a 10 minute walk down the road. Dinner there costs as much as the room at Vera. The budget-conscious might want to show up with some food that can be made with boiling water. Not the place for mobility impaired or those who require a private bathroom. It's a hostel, not a hotel.

Great location, free airport shuttle too. Kind hosts. Please use a translation app since they struggle with English a bit.

Good location close to the airport. Staff were friendly and offered a free airport transfer, even late at night, which we appreciated. Room was very clean and had air conditioning.

The listing mentions ‘soundproof walls’, which is completely false. We had very noisy neighbours and barely slept. Paper blinds on the windows meant that it also let in a lot of light (there are very bright streetlights opposite). Apartment bathroom has no shower curtain so everything gets wet, and no hot water. Room was strange - I felt like was sleeping in a kitchen. But, to be fair, it was very cheap - you get what you pay for.

Clean and perfectly located close to the airport. The hosts are very friendly and even drove us to the airport to catch our early flight at 7 in the morning.

After a long way from Podgorica I was really glad to come here and rest until my flight. I want to say thank you again for everything 🫶🏽 100% recommended!
