Biosphere Inn

Loved our stay here. Very nice hotel with a friendly atmosphere. The staff were great and very welcoming. Always very clean and a great breakfast.

I recently stayed at biosphere inn and had a fantastic experience. This has been by far my best stay in terms of hospitality. Special shoutout to the hotel manager John he contacted me post booking and was always there to reply on WhatsApp for any query. He booked my return flight domestic ticket from male to dharaavandho without any advance just on sheer trust, when we arrived at airport we was there to pick us up. The first day he took us on the golf cart and gave the island tour. Everyday whenever we stepped out he was there to drop us and pick us up even if we didn't ask him. We are vegetarian so he always made sure to add a good vegetarian dish in the breakfast, he gave us free snorkelling gears,bicycles. The rooms were cleaned everyday and were very spacious ,got unlimited water . Every room already had universal adaptor. One very special mention about John we had our return flight to male at 7 am and we had to leave by 5:30 am for the airport he made sure to pack our breakfast by 5:00 am and dropped us , I have never seen any hotel doing that. They also provide a snorkelling excursion at a good price the owner himself is a guide , we went for Whale Shark snorkelling at night for 40$ per person where as for the same thing other shops had asked 80$. We also went for manta ray snorkelling with them and they were always the first one to reach since they had their own boat and they usually took 6-7 people it is very good for those who want to avoid crowds.

The staff, especially John, was super friendly and helpful. He took good care of us, not like his customers, but like his family. He is so thoughtful and attentive, making our stay beyond expectation

If the kitchen can add some Chinese foods it'll be perfect

If you're hesitating between Biosphere and other hotels, go with Biosphere – it's the best on the island. The staff was absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. Upon arrival, I was stuck in Malé due to not having a ticket (all speedboats and flights were fully booked), but one of the owners somehow managed to find a solution in no time. I am extremely grateful for their help and support, because otherwise I'd have cancelled the trip. Communication was very smooth, they answer quickly to messages and always try to help. The staff at the hotel (reception, restaurant, etc.) was also extremely helpful, and the food was great. The room was very clean and cleaned daily, the best I've experienced on a local island in the Maldives. The excursions are phenomenal - with a little bit of luck, you'll be able to see many manta rays and whale sharks. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was perfect, location is excellent, the island is very small anyway.

Everything from the hosts side was perfect.

John, Ahmed and Hamdan would go to the moon and back to make you happy. They are the best. The hotel is cozy and clean, they offer plenty activities at a fair price but not force you to buy anything and organize transport for the island according to your other flights. They reply to whatsapp at all times and offer very good but discrete customer service. Food is good and reasonably priced. Big rooms with space to hang and put clothes, hot water and aircon work great. Free unlimited water, coffee and tea! Definetely recommend it!

I am really happy overall. If to say something you can hear the planes like everywhere else on the island as there is an airport. The room close to the kitchen is noisy starting at 6 30 to prepare for breakfast and you don't have much natural light from there. Room on the top floor does not get much water pressure. I would have loved sparkling water but you can get at the supermarket!
