Sinali Villa

Nice location, calm area far from the street noise. Very kind owners, they were always ready to help us ( for example rent a bike) and checked on us when we didn’t come for breakfast one day. I liked that washing machine was available in there as well other kitchen staff.

It would be nice to offer basic cleaning at least once in few days as beach sand was all over the room and it was no broom nearby. Also we asked to change a waste bin once. I think it was option to change it by ourself, but we were not informed about it. I would also add a bath mat to avoid all water spread over the bathroom. We didn’t like the breakfast as it was quite limited, no hot food, a lot of sweet dishes. I would add more sour options, although I understand that it was kind of Sri Lankan breakfast. It was only coffee present, no tea and all dishes were on the table (buffet style) but anything was covered so all the flies were sitting on the food. Also no any kitchen tongs to put food on a plate, we used our hands))

This is one of the best accomodations we have experienced in the country. The room was spotless clean and quiet. The garden and pool were very pleasant facilities. Facilities like a small kitchen and washing machine were practical. Sinali and her parents were very responsive to questions and wishes and helped to organise visits, of which the boat tour on the Koggala lake was a highlight - Sinali even joined us and gave explanations.

The 1-person bed in the "Superior 3-person room" was situated in a corner of the room where the airco has no influence. As it was on the top-floor, this area of the room remained too warm to sleep. I solved this by moving the mattrass to a cooler part of the room. All other aspects of the accomodation are very positive.

This place, it’s absolutely beautiful, it’s very close to the beach however surrounded by nature. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant there was so much food and very tasty food. I would recommend this to everyone. We’ve got the best treatment and the family it’s absolutely beautiful.

The hotel is highly recommended. We felt very welcome and everything was perfect for us. Very clean, nice big room. Very nice pool and fresh delicious breakfast. We rented a scooter on site. The family is super friendly. I can highly recommend it and will come again.

Perfect calm location, beautifully built villa. There are common kitchens everywhere! You can grill on the roof, chill in the pool, sleep well kn the rooms. Rich breakfast and 15 minutes walking to a nice empty beach. It was our pleasure to stay, what a nice helpful family!

Charming helpful family. The location was great, we walked 20 minutes to the town where we could catch the train or bus to Galle, it was a very pleasant walk. We were cooked a lovely meal from the wife. It was magical being in the pool watching the monkeys swinging in the trees. We were a group of 5 and we were made to feel part of the family. It was a wonderful experience.😁

Some areas can be quite slippery. Altho they do provide anti slip sandals they could do with bigger sizes. No hot water in showers in morning.

The villa was lovely. The pool was great. Room was clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen made it possible to prepare own food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The location was peaceful and quiet compared to other accommodations by the main road.

Far away from shops and restaurants, however the location was very peaceful and we didn’t mind walking anyways.

They have exceptional customer service and owners and staff were very friendly. Flexible with check-in and check-out tie. Highly recommended.
