"Wish I had booked another couple of days. But will be back."

Lovely breakfast, I like the yoke of my fried egg cooked enough so that the white is lightly cooked on top of yoke with yoke still soft. The plate was hot, you don’t get that in hotels as they cater for the masses.

Was rather cloudy on Saturday.

"It was just what we needed."

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice. Well cooked and presented. John and Liz were perfect hosts. Friendly but not intrusive.

Everything was good for us. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

"Accommodation in good location, warm room adequate breakfast"

Lodge was warm, comfortable bed good location

Shower was extremely weak didn’t bother washing my hair for the 2 days as wasn’t confident enough power to remove shampoo. Kettle needs heavily descaling or better still replacing

Lovely spacious room, the owners were so friendly and made us very welcome. The cooked breakfast was the best cooked breakfast I’ve had in years. Highly recommend this property. Excellent value for money!
