Buddika Safari & Resort

My stay at Buddika resort was excellent! The room was spacious and comfortable with a great hot shower. They organised a safari which was really great, the driver Shanaka ensured we had a wonderful experience with many elephant sightings. We also enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast served on our request, this place is highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at Buddika Safari. The accommodation is extremely modern and spacious and some of the best we have stayed in during our travels in Sri Lanka. It is also perfectly placed right by the entrance to the national park. The traditional Sri Lankan curry for dinner was very tasty including Jackfuit from the garden, followed by a hearty breakfast the next morning. However what makes this place really special is Buddika who is such a welcoming host. He is always available for a chat and will offer a number of safari options provided by his guide. We departed at 1:00pm when the park was at its quietest and saw very few other jeeps in the first 90 minutes during lunchtime. As a really special touch, the next morning we had a spare hour before departing and Buddika took us on a walk through the sugar cane and rice fields behind the property explaining village life. A special stay at a fantastic property with such a caring and kind host. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was super clean, the dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the location was perfect for going on safari. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

De locatie was super en de safari was ook fantastisch. Dankzij onze gids Shanaka pradeep hebben we een top middag gehad. Ook het hotel is super en schoon.

Sehr nah am Eingang des Nationalparks.Tolle Zimmer. Die Safari haben wir leider woanders gebucht. Safari beginnt um 06.00 Uhr und ist um ca.09.00 Uhr zu Ende. Das reicht aber es gibt keine 5 Stunden Safaris. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Eigentümer super freundlich für den Preis klare Empfehlung!

Begrüßt wurden wir mit einem Getränk und konnten ein rennoviertes Zimmer beziehen. Die Unterkunft war wunderschön hergerichtet und sehr sauber. Für uns wurde auf Wunsch ein Abendessen zubereitet. Die Safari konnten wir auch zu einem fairen Preis dazubuchen. Ebenfalls waren die Gastgeber super nett. Der Fahrer der Safari Shanaka pradeep hat sich Zeit gelassen und hat ein gutes Auge, wenn es darum geht, Tiere zu spotten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden beides aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen!
