Safari Lodge Yala

We had a great stay at Safari Lodge Yala! They organized an amazing safari for us with a very professional and friendly driver — everything went perfectly. They also arranged a tuk-tuk for us in the evening so we could go out for dinner, which was super convenient. On top of that, they kindly packed our breakfast so we could take it with us early in the morning before the safari. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming — we really appreciated the warm service and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Les habitacions són molt agradables, sempre acompanyades de la fauna local més sorprenent.

El servei de restaurant deixa molt a desitjar. Et fan reservar el menjar per avançat però no hi ha manera de que agafin el telèfon. Vam estar dues nits i les dues nit vam tenir tallada d'aigua sense avís.

Breakfast was package for Yala Park, it is normal package like other accommodation. They provided pro us Safari tour, that was wonderful. We saw a leopard, a bear, elephants and other animals.

Be careful when staying at this accommodation. The accommodation is nice and relatively cheap. However, the staff are trying to rob tourists or collect more money. They charged us 30 USD for a broken toilet seat, which was already broken upon arrival. My mistake was that I did not immediately contact the staff when I found out. I think that even if I reported it, they would have tried to collect money for something else.

WiFi is very poor

The staff were all very friendly, and very understanding with us arriving at around 9.30pm. They organised a safari for us which was amazing! Each room is it's own little lodge, with a small balcony, where you can sit, read and listen to the birds. They organised dinner for us after the Safari as well, having asked our driver to let them know what we wanted.

The air conditioning unit was positioned right over the bed, and dispute enjoying being a but cold in sri lanka, it was too cold at night, especially with just a sheet for a duvet. Breakfast was simple but it nice still.
