The location was good.

During our stay it was higlighted to the staff that there are ants in our room everywhere. In the bathroom (in the sink, on the shelves, on our stuff) , on the sofa AND in the bed walking on the bed frame and on us. They were clearly aware of this problem beforehand because we found an ant trap in the room what helped like nothing. When I asked for solution I was promised that there will be a deep cleaning of the room what never happened. The staff was completely ignorant and the owner as well. They didnt even try to solve this problem. For my money I would like to get a clean accomodation and some sort of communication about the issue and the possible solutions. Totally my worst stay of the last couple of years. Dont recommend to anyone.

just the area, nothing else

i am travelling quite a lot, but this was true dissaster. absolutely dirty room. floor not cleaned, we found som smallthings which had to be forgotten by previous visitors. there was ants in the room and as well in bathroom. spider webs in tolo of places, lot of dust everywhere. bedside table had lamp on it, but there was no electric plug close to it.... bathroom very old and not cleand and mainained, doors was not possible to close. we really think that bedlinen was not clean as well since it didnt smell good and we have seen some, you know, small pieces of som little dirt.... we have slept on towels!!! previously we planned to buy breakfast but we were afraid to do so in the morning after so terrible night. i have showed pictures and videos to stuff, but there was no special reaction. ZERO english, no possible to communicate.... NEVER MORE

Excellent place, friendly staff, perfectly placed for Matrafüred access

The road is quite close and has quite a lot of traffic on it in the evening and early morning - not the fault of the place, of course! On a hot summer's night I wanted to keep the windows open...

In June 2024, we had a corner room on the first floor. It was spacious and clean, and it must have been fully refurbished a couple of years ago. Guests are requested to check in until 8 p.m., but the staff kindly waited for my arrival later in the evening. It was good value for money.

The facility is in the tourist centre, so the room facing the main street was a bit noisy at night. The towels were clean and usable but very old. So were the blankets.

The receptionist in the morning was friendly and helpful.

The receptionist on arrival seemed unacquainted with any procedures for verifying our reservation. She offered us a room much more expensive than our reservation, and didn't seem to find my name in the reservations, despite my having all reservation codes at hand. In addition, the floor covering in the room was in shreds. The mattress was shot, the frame a sheet of plywood.

Like the room with Aircondition and mini fridge. Good choice to stay if your planning to hike.

I was expecting same with their picture the room that I will be stay but unfortunately not.. with garden view and wood finish room I was expecting..
