Nice location, very quiet.

Didn't see any person who works there. Only communication was via messaging/phone. No check out instructions.

Calm location for listening the welcome rain in the middle of a hot summer. Being in the middle of forest even the forecasted winds mostly skipped the tranquil yard. Good breakfast, although it would be more ecological to ask about dietary restrictions before offering sausages. Well, the owner appeared to have some pets, although didn't spot them outside in the rainy weather, so guess the parts not eaten found some other use. Would also recommend the location for family events (if properly arranged with the owner well in advance). Building itself was actually best example of properly done masonry I have seen in Latvia, thanks for restoring my belief in properly built buildings still existing :-)

Too short stay here. Would actually rate it a 10 if any loose-leaf tea were to be added, as proper teaware (both modern and traditional teapots) was already available. While very thick walls are nice, they interfered with wifi signal at kitchen, so could consider adding an extra access point there; wifi worked well in other rooms though.

The house was really nice, spacious and comfortable!

We lost the Wifi connection at some point, connected but no Internet.

Excellent, peacefyl and quiet place to stay in the middle of the woods. Great art nouveau hunting manor with historic feeling. Absolutely great place to stay!
