Ning Ning Guesthouse

This guesthouse is in an incredible location right on the Nam Ou river in the north of Laos. The rooms are very basic , but they have a great restuarant, a really good breakfest and the best coffee! The most stunning thing about his place is the view ! It's worth getting a river view room , it made this place the highlight of the trip for us . The facilities are basic , but the village of Meung Ngoi has no five star resorts or fancy transport ( you get here by long tail boat) , it is much better than that . It's a stunningly beautiful , friendly , chilled out place that has everything the discerning traveller needs ! Lets hope it stays that way ..

This is not a location or guesthouse for fussy people, the set-up is basic, for instance the staircase is a little steep, but the rooms are clean and the staff are really helpful and good people. Oh , and this was the best value for money stay on our whole trip .

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot and breakfast was very good.

wifi was a little weak in the bungalow

Grand bungalow, très propre et situé au bout de la rue principale dans un endroit calme. Le personnel est très accueillant et le petit déjeuner compris était très appréciable !

bungalow agradable, con camas individuales cómodas, agua caliente, espacio para colocar las mochilas y AC (aunque en enero no es en absoluto necesario). el espacio donde estan los bungalows es agradable aunque no hay insonorización. para las vistas ir al restaurante. el café del desayuno es excelente, la comida muy justita

el espacio entre el restaurante y los bungalows está muy descuidado el precio de café en restaurante es altísimo por el precio es de lo.mejor en este pueblo en esta web, localmente se puede ir a guesthouses con buena puntuación en google maps pero con los que no conseguimos contactar previamente

Great location. Although I didn’t get the river view room I was offered to stay in one of their bungalows which was actually not too bad and they gave me a discount. The views from the lobby/restaurant was stunning. The owners were very nice and friendly. The village was very authentic and this is what you would expect. A simple little village with simple living.

Tout, surtout la première nuit avec vue sur rivière et coucher de soleil magnifique. 2eme nuit pour partager dans bungalow côté jardin mais chouette aussi. Muang ngoi est vraiment reposant et très joli, loin de l affluence de tourisme . Allez manger et passer les soirées chez lola tenu par un français et sa femme Laotienne, pétanque avec enfants laos et cuisine succulente
