A very nice old building in a very central but quiet part of the town.

The fact that there was no shower except a bath with spray. Meant that if you are a little long in the tooth and with slight mobility difficulties, this does not work too well.

"Perfect overnight stay in a lovely old house"

A gorgeous little black cat with white toes made us feel very welcome, along with the manager who was very accommodating. Very clean, very comfortable and perfect for our overnight stay. Interesting lay out to the room. Our bedroom opened onto the stoep. No window in the room, just the doors, but there are shutters which can be closed to allow air in.

"Great place to stopover in Oudtshoorn!"

Easy to get in on arrival. Cecil let us in and showed us around. The room was big and spacious enough for our family of four. Beds were super comfortable. Property is great with lots of interesting antique tools around.

We only stayed one night as a stopover but would definitely recommend. Very friendly owners. Nice location with shops nearby. Garden was really pleasant and our room was large and comfortable. Very reasonable price. Free tea and coffee in the room.

The only negative for us was a lack of a kitchen to use. However, there was a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster in the room so some basic bits could be done.
