The staff were very friendky and helpful

There weren't enough parking spaces for the number of guests and a permit to park on the road cost £2 The fresh fruit on offer at breakfast was past its best and the coffee wasn't nice

Welcoming staff and comfortable room. So nice to have a big window, high ceiling, and be able to make a cup of tea which has become a rarity in bigger hotels. Excellent value for the quality of room and breakfast.

A little noisy being able to hear other people moving about and coming and going but not a problem if you're not a light sleeper!

The double bed was just a standard double so a bit small compared with the beds most of us have at home today.
