Some fittings and furniture in the room and bathroom were in need of repair, but it didn't affect my stay.

Friendly welcome from Andy. Cozy, comfortable room. Full English featured the tastiest, most nicely cooked bacon I've had in ages. Interesting display of books Andy has written. Great location, an easy walk away from the venue I was attending and just a couple of streets away from the beach.

While the bacon was great, if you'll forgive me for saying, Andy - the sausage and the individual portion of marmalade I had on my toast were average.

The breakfast was cooked to my order and was perfect. The room and en-suite was spotlessly clean. The room was quite spacious. If you are looking for real value for money, look no further. I am well travelled and this guesthouse ‘hits the spot.’ Not right in the centre of town, but worth stretching your legs for!

There was nothing I did not like.
