"Beautiful and calming experience"

Wonderful experience. We stayed in the old goat house cottage and it was lovely. Really does feel like stepping back in time to an altogether more simple and tranquil life! The surroundings are stunningly beautiful, birds and animals everywhere you look! The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Would have liked to have stayed longer but was still an excellent pit-stop on the garden route. Highly recommended.

"Historical stay in Riversdal"

Absolute perfect stay - the farmhouse is magnificent with a lot of history. The renovation was done beautiful and the bathroom was large and had a nice bath. The kitchen and dining room are spacious and well-equipped and a beautiful outside and inside braai area. The host was amazing and the farm animals were friendly.

Nothing - apart from adding a few dish cloths to aid in washing and drying the dishes

Absolutely delightful in nearly every aspect. Anyone with a feeling for “the old Cape” would love it. Enhanced by the free ranging pigs and poultry. Warm and interesting hosts.

The lighting inside leaves much to be desired and could easily be improved, especially in the fire and kitchen prep areas.
