Peaceful surroundings, lots of animals, friendly owners and staff

Gorgeous historical building very comfortably furnished and decorated wonderfully with art and photography. Loved the firepit as well as the indoors hearth in the kitchen. Without doubt an exceptional and special experience with a coterie of rescued farm animals as company. Superlative.

I called several times noone answered and the called back after two hours and it was very dark at this place no lights all i could here was the sount of the pigs i drove away and park back in town this place is the bushguest house not farm stay

Impressive and characteristic manor house with lots of space and beautiful renovated bathrooms. The large bed had an electric blanket for chilly nights. The owners were very welcoming and even baked us a delicious bread! The farm animals, dogs and horses are all friendly and the property is well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped and there were multiple outside seating areas, as well as a Weber BBQ and both an outdoor and indoor fireplace. Walks around the farm are a feast for young and old!

I personally didn't mind, but good to know: no Wi-Fi in the house itself.

There was nothing we didn't like

Loved absolutely everything about our stay, especially all the happy friendly animals. The history of the homestead is special and our spacious cottage was pure delight. Will highly recommend to anyone wanting to get off the beaten track. Hosts were exceptionally friendly, lovely people.

It's really a magical place. Everything's perfect to every little detail. The gardens are beautifully maintened, the cottage really tastefully decorated and has an authentic feeling. It's a dream destination for animal lovers as well as nature ones. The hosts are super nice&educated people. Thank you for having us!
