Nice central location near lots of cafes and activities. Decor was colorful and cozier than most newer places.

The noise from the street could be quite loud since it’s close to the main road. Water didn’t stay hot long, but this is normal in India. When we checked in our room was booked, so we were upgraded to bigger room for one night, which was nice. However, we had to check out and wait to check in to our actual room the next day, which was inconvenient. Bins in the room would be appreciated.

The staff is ready to help anytime, I really appreciated their advices. Location is great, very central of Tapovan. I was happy to have a good bathroom, with hot water shower. And the + was: the drop-in yoga classes everyday, several times a day which I loved. I had a great time and i definitely recommend this place :)

The noise and the workers outside disturbed sometimes my stay, but that was not due to Manik house of course.

I arrived in India for the first time, full of worries as a solo female traveler. When I saw the building on the main road of Tapovan, I felt a bit relieved and my worries started to fade. Meeting Manik immediately eased all my concerns. He was always ready to help me, and the staff he works with were incredibly kind. The room had no issues at all – the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the hot water worked perfectly. As I mentioned to Manik when I checked out, when I come back to Rishikesh (which I definitely will), I will definitely stay here again. Of course, being on the main road, it can be noisy at times, but that's a characteristic of this area that won't disappear unless you venture into a very secluded alley.

The staff was very helpful and very nice. The owner took care of me as I was sick during the stay. He has been Amazing The position Is close to the Main Road, shops , restaurants and cafes and 10 minutes walk from the Ghat The room was clean with all the facilities included

Need to improve on hot water situation, often did not have hot water. Location is very central but is quite noisy due to the traffic.

The location is prime, near Tapovan itself from where connectivity is good. Although we stayed for only 1 day the response from owner was prompt and also it is a economical stay without compromising on facilities.

Naresh and his staff are very pleasant hosts and were extremely helpful with whatever I needed at any time. The rooms and the space are clean and neat and the location is close to all the hotspots in Tapovan.

Only thing is I had booked a room with a view and balcony but there was none. The construction boom had apparently left most buildings blocked!

There is normal accommodation and then there is this kind of accommodation that money doesn’t pay and it comes from generosity off the heart off the person who receive you - that is Manik. For my first time, first day in India as a women to have someone who will help you if something is happens and gives you this feeling that you can explore but at the same time feeling safe this was for me the right introduction to India and of course priceless. Manik also was the guide around telling where to go, how to go and all those details. I felt that I was with my family with him and is workers. For me there is no words to express all the gratitude that I have for him! In terms of accommodation the room was very comfortable and clean. I had always Wi-Fi and light even if the light went of for the all city - found out that is normal in Rishikesh. Definitely a place to book your room in Rishikesh.
