"A great location to rest while traveling."

An ideal place to lay my head after a busy day. The checkin was very efficient and friendly. The room was impeccably clean with refreshing air conditioning for the Algarve summer. The restaurant O Retiro opposite had great food and variety.

Power went down several times in the afternoon while I was working online in the room, shutting off the lights and air-conditioning for about 30 secs, but fortunately not interrupting the wifi. This was slightly worrying until the lady at reception explained that this was unfortunately ´normal´ as the electrical system became overloaded with all the air-conditioning units switched on. There was occasional noise from heavy trucks or loud motorbikes on the busy road outside.
