"A mixed bag ..."

Nicely decorated rooms. Dinner was lovely and waiting staff/bar staff were great. Location was lovely. No band on would have been good as the bar lacked atmosphere but we enjoyed a few drinks.

Bed not great. Breakfast was very Faulty Towers. Waitress was late had slept in. Chef basically took our order. Had to walk around the building to get in. This was just silly and really needs looked at. Manager/Receptionist came in only to give out about the Waitress for us to hear...the breakfast was nice but we were glad to get back to the room. It was all a bit cringe.

This is a very comfortable small boutique hotel in the pretty village of Strangford.The decor is v tasteful. It is v comfortable and the staff are amazing , especially Alison, on reception and Cathie in the restaurant . All the staff are so nice and helpful and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable . The food in the restaurant was excellent. The fish was scrumptious!

There was nothing I didn’t like about our stay in this hotel.
