NOThere was an AC
The AC and the water didn't work one of the three nights we were there. Rooms were infested with ants, and there was no sound isolation from the common areas into our rooms.
ECStaff was friendly
The accommodations were unfinished floors and bathroom did not have a window, just a screen, so it was very hot and lizards and big ants and other flying bugs were in the room and bathroom. I slept with the lights fearing I'd find bugs in my bed.
AUThe location was good, close to main dock. Room cleaned every day. Aircon in rooms was appreciated. Free drinking water refills were available. Tea and coffee was available but no milk provided. Towel provided.
Cash only payments. Given so, enough cash should be available for change. Change was owed to me but never given!! No breakfast which was strange as it is listed as a “B&B” which literally means “bed-and-breakfast”. About 4-5 rooms backed onto the common area, where sometimes people were smoking and the smoke came into the room from the bathroom window which could not be closed.

CAAUThe staff were the best in the business. The room got cleaned everyday. Hot water was available 24/7, so I got to make my own coffee. Centrally located.
The people next door in another property didn’t sleep. They yelled all night. Caroused and made a nuisance of themselves. I couldn’t get back to sleep once I woke up at 3 am.
PLCheap and basic, budget-type hostel. Very close to the beach and port, few minutes by foot. Room was cleaned daily, not always done in such places. A/C working well. Internal patio with public fridge and small kitchen. Not a very pretty place, but cheap comfortable base in expensive Puerto Ayora.
WiFi working only in kitchen area, in our room signal was very weak. Third hole ("mass" or "ground") in electric sockets in our room was incorrectly connected and gave electric shocks, only plugs with 2 bolts could be safely used.
BGClose to the malecon (centre), staff is super nice and you can book tours directly from the hotel. The rooms are in small bungalows, with aircon, closets and private washroom. They are quite basic but still comfortable.
The facilities were just a bit old and the whole atmosphere felt a bit like we were in a ghetto.
