Chez Pom

The flat is very nicely furnished. Apart from the usual coffee powder and soap, there were numerous other things, such as insect repellent spray, many and large bottles of mineral water.

The air conditioning in the living room did not provide the required performance and needed support from the air conditioning in the bedroom. If the flat is occupied by 4 people, the tableware is short.

Pom was very kind and welcoming. Great location, in between sunday market, night market and city center. The room is overly equiped.

No elevator, room is upstairs but was not a big issue.

Pom was super helpful and friendly with lots of info about the city and Thailand. The place was clean and well equipped, including mosquito repellent!

Nothing, all went well.

The owner has though of every detail to make a really comfy stay with all mod cons. I especially liked the owners decor. The house was full of art and sculptos and interesting items. French art and lots of War art. An amazing lamp and a big paper mache pig.

Lots of stairs. Not an issue usually bit we traveled with a crawling baby so we were permanently on guard at the stairs.

Pom, the host, is exceptionally friendly, accommodating and understanding. He definitely stands out as a gracious host. I had the opportunity to stay in both the double room and the 2 bedroom apartment for over a week and they were both great. There are a lot of little extras that Pom provides that make staying here much easier. Great location, spacious rooms, great air conditioning. I had no problems coming and going. Pom speaks English well and he made an effort to personally be there upon my arrival, even through my changing my inbound flight to a much later time. I only regret I forgot to set aside some time to visit his shop.

Wi-Fi could be better. Walking up stairs and walkways not ideal (watch your footing) Some option to clean the room more frequently would be nice.

Two large bedrooms, good A/C, great location, excellent host. Satellite TV with a few English speaking stations for when the rain hits.

Internet a little flakey.
