Mammoth Boutique Hotel

Fantastic location in Chiang Mai’s Old Town. Rustic and homey property. Rooms are large and spacious and clean. Staff are very kind. Cool poolside area and bar/smoking area playing music every night, great for a chill drink.

Even though in the room it says there are lock boxes available from the reception, when I asked at reception they said they no longer provide lock boxes. And on the booking.com listing it says laundry under amenities list however they do not provide laundry services and you need to go outside to laundry shops to get this done.

Staff great and helpful. Large room. Location is good. It's 10 to 16 min walk to the very lively hub of town but still has everything on your doorstep.

The hot water didn't work and although they tried to fix it, it stopped working again. The main problem is the bar next door. The music is VERY loud and right under our room.

Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Extrem laut. Die Fotos entsprechen nicht dem tatsächlichen Zustand.

ทำเลที่ตั้งคิดว่าดีสำหรับคนที่ไม่มีรถ เพราะเราเอารถส่วนตัวไปและไม่มีอาหารเช้าในบุคที่จองเลยไม่รู้ว่าเรื่องอาหารเป็นยังไง เรื่องห้องพัก ห้องน้ำ หรือของใช้ในห้องต่างๆ คิดว่าโอเคดีแล้ว แต่เตียงนอนแข็งไปนิดนึงค่ะ

อยากให้เพิ่มเรื่องอาหารหรือเครื่องดื่ม อาจไม่ต้องหนักมากแต่อยากให้มีพร้อมสำหรับแขกที่บางทีไม่สะดวกออกไปหาอะไรกินข้างนอกเวลาดึกๆ พนักงานเคาเตอร์อยากให้เพิ่มคนไทยค่ะ วันที่เราไปเหมือนจะมีอยู่คนเดียวและเป็นคนจีนด้วย

The stuff, helped us a lot, we could change the room because of the noise. He even ordered a taxi for us to the airport, weren't it be for the extreme noise, I would give 8!!

There is a bar right next to the hotel, they play drums from 14 to midnight every day, the house is literally shaking. No way you get to sleep, even with ear plugs, because of the vibrations.

Very pleasant and charming stay in the old town, lots of restaurants and cafes and massage places within walking distance. I was travelling solo but I got the feeling it’d be an even better place for couples and families.
