Finnsstaðir Holiday Home with Hot tub

We really loved staying here! The house has a wonderful farmhouse/farm-style vibe that we thoroughly enjoyed. Although the property is a bit older, it is fully equipped with everything we needed and very well-maintained. Even though we only stayed for one night, the location was incredibly convenient for us to connect to our next accommodation as we traveled toward the northern cities. We were very happy with our stay!

Our only regret was regarding the hot tub. Before heading to bed, we wanted to soak in it, but it was already very late by then. We plugged it in for an hour, but it didn't heat up. It might have been because we couldn't figure out the correct way to operate the heating system. Since it was so late, we didn't feel comfortable contacting the host. It was a bit of a pity!

Loved the horse. The living room was great. Bathrooms good size. Always love ability to do laundry. Well appointed kitchen

Location was good, and it was clean. Loved watching the horses.

The hot tub instructions were not helpful, and they were not responsive in a timely manner when we asked for explanation. Would have been helpful to have written instructions. Would have liked to be able to go in the barn.

Lovely warm and cosy accommodation. The hot tub was great and easy to use. We had a couple of lovely walks down to the river accompanied by the two dogs resident on the farm they were really friendly! 😊
