First of all, I am eternally grateful that the guests next door to us were there during our checkout and that the next guests for the room we were in were early. If it wasn't for them - we may not be alive to tell you what happened. At checkout the entire family ganged up on me demanding I give them 100 GEL more because I ruined their mattress topper by washing it. My 5 years old peed himself in fear. They were not going to let us leave unless they get something. Both mattress toppers were dirty. The mattresses below were visibly dirty too. I had the time to wash only one topper. I also put all sheets in the bathroom - on the room next to us there were couples coming in every day. I didn't see them changing the sheets even once. But - a mattress topper is from 500 to 1000 GEL. They asked for 100GEL - the utilities of both rooms for a month, according to locals I consulted with. When I didn't have cash, the bigger son handed me his phone and said - here, you can pay 100 GEL, enter your credit card details. I refused. They sent me their bank account details in booking but didn't write a name. When I was directing the 2nd car to go up the younger son bullied my 5 years old and my dog - pushing my ki, lifting the dog off the ground... maybe to drop her and see if she'll survive?!? Then he was staying and playing on his phone while I was loading our heavy bags, with the baby strapped to me. Only when the new guests in the room started helping me he decided to pretend to help.

There is free wifi. When I first moved in I was nicely surprised that it is clean. Later on I learned that they never wash the mattresses so only God knows how dirty and old they are.

The description of the room has nothing to do with what you find on premises. There are 2 sockets and they are 1 meter away from the bed. There is no washing machine, no hanger, no stove. If you want there- you need to go IN the owner's actual home. I did and on the first laundry the father yelled at me not to wanting to use a program at 1hr 48 min, after the washer in their other house was so bad that the clothes were never even soacked in water. The next day the mother came to tell me that I should not use much water. The grandmother lives one wall from the room. She wakes up and opens the front door so even if you go out of your room to take something from the fridge she'll know and when the mother comes by she'll tell her your every move. The son knows English but is just as big of a bully as his father. On two iccassions there was no water for the day, they received notification and didn't think they should tell me. The grandmother also sits all day on the pink chairs so you can't use them. If you do she'll try to sell you a knitten bed cover in poop and mustard color for $50. One day I left my 5 years old to play out and she started interrogsting him, not knowing that just as she's sitting outside to listen in on everything I am inside and I listen to her too. Another thing - the walls are paper thin. If you want to you can chime in into the conversation of the people in the other room. The courtyard in which this place is also very lively in the evening - the gather, they talk, they sing. To return to the grandmother. One day I decided to make an experiment - they open the door. I close it. In 20 min they open it again, and I close it again. This went on all day. Literally the front door you see on the pictures is theirs to open and spy on your every move. I would not recommend this place even for a single night stay.

Very friendly staff, they had no problem with us arriving after midnight. Comfortable room, nice inner court.

The hosts only spoke Russian.

We were a group of four and this place was a really good value! The room was large with air conditioning and a private bathroom with plenty of hot water. We checked in super late and the owner graciously came out to let us in and didn't make a fuss about it. We did get the "money me now" request the day after, but the language barrier was pretty high, so it was understandable and a bit comical honestly. The location is right up the street from several bath houses (including a great public one for 15GEL!) and also within walking distance from all the main attractions. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!
