Clean and nearest to city

Best place to stay very close to the old city and other attractions. Luggage storage facility helped us as we travelled to other cities. if I am visiting Tbilisi I would stay at this place.

Nothing major but language barrier and host is not active in WhatsApp or doesnt immediately reply for Booking.com messages.

There was a keetle, microwave, refrigerator. The room was big, the bathroom was clean, there was constantly hot water. There is a washing machine in the owners home, which can be used. The location is great. Although the place is nearly in historical center of Tbilisi, it was quiet and calm at night

So easy to find just at the back of the Sulfur Bath Area.The owner does not speak English but his sign language makes it easy for us to understand. Very Clean. Good value for your money. It has an attached bathroom with a nice big full body mirror on the door. Surely we will book this place once we are in Tblisi.

We stayed three different times in Guesthouse Gia. We stayed in two different rooms. Location in the old town was very good. Many places of interest were at walking distance.

The description of rooms was not correct. They use the same list of amenities for every room even though the rooms are very different. Most of the things on the list are not there. In our first room there was a washing machine but not in the second. The other things missing were for example: Free toiletries, Kitchen, Safety deposit box, Bidet, Sofa, Hardwood or parquet floors, Electric blankets, Seating Area, Pants press, Iron, TV, Mosquito net, Tea/Coffee maker, Fan, Additional toilet, Electric kettle, Fold-up bed, Drying rack for clothing, Sofa bed, Kitchenware, Alarm clock. Most of the things are not so important, but for example the kitchen in the first room didn´t have any stove, kettles and so on. Checking in was a little weird. We asked someone where to find the owner of the place and he just stood in the middle of the yard and shouted the name of the owner. So did we when we came for the second and third time. It was very hard to communicate because the owner didn´t speak any English. We paid cash the first two times. The third time we had booked for three nights. We didn´t have cash and we agreed to pay later. The second day the owner and his son (?) came and in a very rude way demanded us to pay at once. They yelled at us something about previous guests who left without paying. They demanded my passport as a guarantee, which I didn´t want to give. So we had to go immediately and get the money from ATM. We prefer staying in small family owned guesthouses but this time the family bullied us and made us feel like criminals.
